Some of My Favorite Movies

Yesterday, I started to tell you about my top ten favorite kid movie scenes when I ran out of time. I only got to tell you about five.

To recap, yesterday we had:

  • Iron Giant
  • Brother Bear
  • The Princess and the Frog
  • Finding Nemo
  • Ratatouille

So today, I share 5 more of my favorite movie scenes.

Monsters Inc. – My favorite scenes was actually the outtakes at the end…where Sully goes sliding by and Mike says, “could we get a little more wax on the floor?” But inside the movie my favorite scene is when Mike wakes up Sully, and it sounds like the radio but it is really Mike live.

Ice Age – any scene with Scrat the squirrel. But my favorite is the opening scene when he jams in the acorn and the ice cracks. That whole scene until he gets stepped on is hillarious!

Aladdin – yeah’s an oldie but a goodie. I love the scene where Aladdin meets the Genie and the genie is telling Aladdin about the wishes he can get. Especially when he says, “sit down kid, you’re gettin your three wishes!”

Madagascar – the penguins thoroughly kill me in this, and I love to watch their TV show, but I really love the scenes where Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman  meet King Julian. He’s my favorite Madagascar character, so arrogant and funny.

Up! – I think the whole movie is really funny, except for the parts where you know Mr. Fredricksen is sad because his wife died. My favorite scene is from when he’s small, and  Ellie tells him, “ripped the page, right out of the library book!” She was such a spirited rebel when she was small. And I love when her hair poofs out after she takes off her hat. Great movie!

OK…That’s it!

My top ten favorite movie scenes. Well, movie scenes that I could think of off the top of my head. I’m sure I could come up with more if you’d jog my memory.

Robby out for now!

P.S. It’s sooooo windy today. I thought they would close the schools so we wouldn’t get hit with flying tree branches or garbage on the way to school…but I guess they don’t care,  ’cause we have to go. Don’t cha hate that!
