Ever get strange thoughts?
Ever wonder why?
I guess that’s what kids are supposed to do.
Here are some of the things I wondered lately. Maybe you can come up with some of your own.
Why isn’t phonetic spelled the way it sounds? fo-ne-tic
Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii?
Why do planes have flotation devices under the seat instead of parachutes?
Why are cigarettes sold in gas stations when you aren’t allowed to smoke there?
How can fat chance and slim chance mean the same thing?
If you can’t drink and drive, why do you need a driver’s license to buy liquor, and why do bars have parking lots?
How come the bank drive-through ATM has Braille? For the blind drivers?
Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical questions?
How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work?
If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the doors?
If a mime yelled for help, who would hear him?
How come animals can eat road kill, but it would kill us humans?
How do you know if a possum is really dead, or just playing dead?
Would the librarian look at you funny if you asked for a book on how to read?
When a driver is told, “Go ahead, back up” how does he know if he should go forward or backward.
OK. That’s all for today.
But I get these strange thoughts every day. How about you?
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below…I’d love to hear from you.
